We regret to announce the death of Barbara Johnson on Thursday December 19, 2013 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 78 years. She is survived by three sons: Robert husband of Arlene, Mark husband of Lorraine and Kenneth husband of Janet all of Kapuskasing; 2 siblings: Myrna Christopher of Ottawa, Allan Burns of Ottawa, as well as five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eldon Johnson and a daughter Brenda Lee. In her spare time she used to make 3D pictures. Barbara Johnson will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday December 22, 2013 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd at Guenette Funeral Home at 10:30 AM with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès de Barbara Johnson le jeudi 19 décembre 2013 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner de Kapuskasing à l’âge de 78 ans. Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte trois fils : Robert époux d’Arlene, Mark époux de Lorraine et Kenneth époux de Janet, tous de Kapuskasing; une sœur Myrna Christopher d’Ottawa et un frère Allan Burns d’Ottawa, ainsi que cinq petits-enfants et 4 arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédé par son époux Eldon Johnson et une fille Brenda Lee. Dans ses temps de loisirs, elle se plaisait à créer des images en trois dimensions. Barbara Johnson reposera au Salon funéraire Guenette le dimanche 22 décembre 2013 de 14h00 à 16h00 et de 19h00 à 21h00. Le service funéraire aura lieu le lundi 23 décembre 2013 à 10h30 avec le Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, on serait très reconnaissant de dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©
