We sadly announce the passing of John Emerson Black, on December 10, 2017 at the age of 85 years in Kapuskasing, Ontario. He is survived by his wife, Goldie, his sons, David (Jill), and Stephen (Ruth), and his daughter, Susan. Predeceased by one son, Darrel. He will be remembered as a father, grandfather, friend and child of God. He was a farmer at heart with a career as a Stationary Engineer in several parts of Ontario and business owner in Cochrane. Happy memories will live on. There will be no funeral, but a family memorial is being planned. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at the Extendicare Kapuskasing and for the loving support from his friends at the Kapuskasing Gospel Hall.
