Obituary for Josef Matzelle

Josef Matzelle
We regret to announce the death of Josef Matzelle on January 20, 2014 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his son: Joseph Matzelle husband of Dianne of Whitby; 1 daughter Jessica Matzelle wife of Nick Pylypenko of Kapuskasing; 1 sister: Maria Staudacher of Avenel, New Jersey U.S.A., as well as 6 grandchildren: Morgan, Alex, Philip, Patricia, Maria and James. He was predeceased by his wife Maria, 1 sister Elizabeth and 2 brothers John and Hendrick Matzelle. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.. Josef Matzelle will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday January 22, 2014 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and on Thursday January 23, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday January 24th 2014 at St. Patrick's Church at 10:30 am with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès de Josef Matzelle le 20 janvier 2014 au foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l’âge de 77 ans. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son fils Joseph Matzelle époux de Dianne de Whitby; 1 fille Jessica Matzelle épouse de Nick Pylypenko de Kapuskasing; 1 sœur Maria Staudacher d’Avenel, New Jersey, É.U., de même que 6 petits-enfants : Morgan, Alex, Philip, Patricia, Maria et James. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse Maria, 1 sœur Elizabeth et 2 frères John et Hendrick Matzelle. Il aimait faire la pêche et la chasse. Josef Matzelle reposera au Salon funéraire Guenette le mercredi 22 janvier 2014 de 14 h - 16 h et le jeudi 23 janvier 2013 de 14 h - 16 h et de 19 h - 21h. La Célébration eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 24 janvier 2014 en l'église St-Patrick à 10h30 avec le père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, on serait très reconnaissant des dons à la Société Alzheimer. ©
