Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Léo Ricard, à l'âge de 83 ans, le lundi 11 avril 2022, à Kapuskasing, après une longue maladie. Léo aimait faire de la menuiserie, résoudre des mots croisés, et jouir du plein air en forêt. Cependant, sa famille fut sa priorité pour lui.
Léo laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Lise, de Kapuskasing; ses enfants : Michel, Josée Ricard (Tony Migneault) de Kapuskasing et Patricia Ricard-Lofstrom (Ed) de Sault Ste. Marie; deux sœurs : Jeannette Fournel et Aurore Ricard de Timmins; neuf petits-enfants : Maxim, Arianna, Emilie, Raphaël, Marie-Eve, Chloé, Jason, Jessica et Steve; six arrière-petits-enfants : Bennett, Audrée, Sophia, Félix, Théo et Cloé. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Luc et Marie-Anna; un frère, Fernand; et cinq sœurs : Claire Ricard, Jeanne Ricard, Fernande Ricard, Lucille Landriault et Anita Landriault.
La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 23 avril 2022, à 10h30, en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, avec le Père Rémi Lessard comme célébrant. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the death of Léo Ricard, at the age of 83 years, on Monday, April 11, 2022, in Kapuskasing, after a long illness. Léo enjoyed woodworking, solving crossword puzzles and spending time in the forest. However, his family was his greatest pride and joy.
Léo is survived by his wife, Lise, of Kapuskasing; his children: Michel, Josée Ricard (Tony Migneault) of Kapuskasing; and Patricia Ricard-Lofstrom (Ed) of Sault Ste. Marie; two sisters: Jeannette Fournel and Aurore Ricard of Timmins; nine grandchildren: Maxim, Arianna, Emilie, Raphaël, Marie-Eve, Chloé, Jason, Jessica and Steve; six great-grandchildren: Bennett, Audrée, Sophia, Félix, Théo and Cloé.
Léo was predeceased by his parents, Luc and Marie-Anna; six siblings: Fernand, Claire Ricard, Jeanne Ricard, Fernande Ricard, Lucille Landriault and Anita Landriault.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church, with Father Rémi Lessard officiating. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy. ©
