Obituary for Léopold Paradis

We regret to announce the death of Léopold Paradis on January 12, 2017 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 84 years. Léopold was a jack of all trades who loved working around his house and repairing anything that broke. He also adored taking care of his wife and grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, especially bread, gardening, dancing, playing cards, fishing at the end of his dock, and he was never without a joke or two.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Cécile; his children: Guy (Angèle) of Kapuskasing, Luc (Kathy) of Thunder Bay, Line Guenette (Jean-Claude) de Kapuskasing, et Michel (Heather) of Thunder Bay; eight grandchildren: Kevin, Patrick, Daniel, Rémi, Marc-André, Scott, Eric, and Kyle; five great-grandchildren: Brody, Cali, Olivia, Jade, and Ilianna; as well as one sister-in-law: Peggy Paradis of Orillia. He was predeceased by six brothers: Edmond, Lorandeau, Roland, Armand, Laval, and Irėné; and three sisters: Stella Séguin, Darquise Peters, and Edna Creech.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16th at Immaculée-Conception church at 1:30 p.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©
