Obituary for / Nécrologie pour Luc Chabot
C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Luc Chabot à l’âge de 55 ans, le 27 janvier 2021. Luc laisse pour pleurer sa perte ses parents, Wilfrid (Ti-pit) et Odile Chabot; ses enfants bien-aimés : Chantele Burroughs-Chabot et Ryan Burroughs-Chabot; ainsi que sa jolie petite-fille, Dayna May Lovett. Son frère, Daniel Chabot et sa jumelle, Lucie Chabot (Gaëtan Garneau) le manqueront grandement; ainsi que deux nièces : Mireille Cloutier Chabot (Dustin Mathieu) et Kayla Chabot (Justin Maitland); et un neveu, Eric Cloutier Chabot (Sabrina-Lynne McLeod).
On se souviendra toujours et à jamais de Luc, en raison de cette rare combinaison qu’il possédait : sa capacité de rire et son talent impeccable d’illuminer toute pièce où il entrait. Sa simplicité à vivre sa vie a touché le cœur de tant de gens. Luc, nous ne t’oublierons jamais.

With great sadness we announce the death of Luc Chabot at the age of 55 years, on January 27, 2021. Luc will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Wilfrid (Ti-pit) and Odile Chabot; his loving children: Chantele Burroughs-Chabot and Ryan Burroughs-Chabot; as well as his beautiful grand-daughter, Dayna May Lovett. He will be greatly missed by his brother, Daniel Chabot and his twin sister, Lucie Chabot (Gaëtan Garneau); two nieces: Mireille Cloutier Chabot (Dustin Mathieu) and Kayla Chabot (Justin Maitland); and his nephew, Eric Cloutier Chabot (Sabrina-Lynne McLeod).
Luc will always and forever be remembered for the rare combination he possessed: laughter and his impeccable ability to light up any room he entered. His simplicity in living his life touched so many hearts. Luc, you will never be forgotten.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feburary 4 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Sebastien Groleau officiating. To attend the funeral service, please click here. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated. ©
