Obituary for Lucienne Séguin

Lucienne  Séguin
We regret to announce the death of Lucienne Séguin on May 2, 2013 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Rossi (Dennis); one stepson, Paul Séguin; two grandsons: Trevor (Siglinde) and Tim (Karen); three step-granddaughters: Pauline, Patsy and Louise; six great-grandchildren: Kaela, Madison, Jacob, Olivia, Hanne and Sebastian; two nieces: Louise Thompson (Ted) and Lorraine Measor (Dave); and four nephews: Jim Taggart (Joanne), Bob, Roger and Norm Cuillerier. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Séguin; her lifelong friend, Gerard Audet; her parents: Dominique and Antonia Cuillerier; one sister, Jeanne Taggart; and three brothers: Emile, Albert and Arthur Cuillerier. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Legion Branch 85 Ladies Auxiliary, Sensenbrenner Hospital Auxiliary, Golden Age Club, Extendicare Nursing Home Auxiliary and the Centre de Loisirs. She enjoyed volunteering and had received an award from the Town of Kapuskasing for Volunteer of the Year. A memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Residents' Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Jeannette Rossi (Dennis); un beau-fils, Paul Séguin; deux petits-fils: Trevor (Siglinde) et Tim (Karen); trois belles-petites-filles : Pauline, Patsy et Louise; six arrière-petits-enfants: Kaela, Madison, Jacob, Olivia, Hanne et Sebastian; deux nièces: Louise Thompson (Ted) et Lorraine Measor (Dave); et quatre neveux: Jim Taggart (Joanne), Bob, Roger et Norm Cuillerier. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Roland Séguin; son ami à vie, Gérard Audet; ses parents: Dominique et Antonia Cuillerier; une sœur, Jeanne Taggart; et trois frères: Emile, Albert et Arthur Cuillerier. Elle était un membre des Femmes du Moose, Auxiliaire féminin de la Légion filiale 85, l’Auxiliaire de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner, Centre de l'Âge d'Or, l’Auxiliaire du foyer Extendicare et le Centre de Loisirs. Elle aimait faire du bénévolat et a reçu un prix de la Ville de Kapuskasing pour Bénévole de l’année. Un service commémoratif aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fond de loisirs des résidents du foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing. ©
