Obituary for / Nécrologie pour Lynda Mosberger
With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Lynda (Yolande) Mosberger, at the age of 97 years, on Monday, April 18, 2022, with her family by her side. In her spare time, Lynda greatly enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, and playing cards, especially poker. She also adored the cottage where she was often joined by her sisters. Lynda couldn't wait to go in the spring, staying all summer until she had no choice but to close it up for the winter.
Lynda will be greatly missed by her children: James Dunbar of Windsor, Leslie Dunbar (Karen), Lynda Dunbar, Elizabeth McInnis (Don) all of Kapuskasing, and Christina Mosberger (David Stimson) of Peterborough; her grandchildren: Deborah, Jim, Jamie, Tracy-Lynn, Jade, Matthew, and Tiana; great-grandchildren: Brianna, Hannah, Justin, Jordan, Evan, Morgan, Conor, Fiona, Ruth, Abraham, Howard, Ender, Maggie; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; as well as three sisters: Madeleine Rivest, Léa Godard, and Lorraine Chartrand; and her grand-doggy, Pichou.
Lynda was predeceased by her spouse, Gerhard; her parents, Eva and Paul Rivest; two daughters-in-law: Rosemary and Marilyn; and six sisters: Rita Currie, Margo Allard, Loretta Gollon, Muriel Hyland, Gabrielle Lebrun, and Mona Beaudry.
Lynda will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 21st, at 2:00 p.m., at the Immaculée-Conception church, with Father Rémi Lessard and Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Cremation will follow at the Guenette Crematorium. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Kapuskasing Food Bank as expressions of sympathy. ©
Avec grande tristesse, nous annonçons le décès paisible de Lynda (Yolande) Mosberger, à l’âge de 97 ans, le lundi 18 avril 2022, avec sa famille à ses côtés. Comme passe-temps, Lynda aimait faire de la lecture, résoudre des casse-tête, et jouer aux cartes, surtout le poker. Elle adorait être au chalet, où ses sœurs l’accompagnaient souvent. Lynda ne pouvait pas attendre d’y aller au printemps et d’y demeurer tout l’été, jusqu’à temps qu’elle n’ait pas le choix que de le fermer pour l’hiver.
Lynda manquera grandement à ses enfants : James Dunbar de Windsor, Leslie Dunbar (Karen), Lynda Dunbar, Elizabeth McInnis (Don) tous de Kapuskasing, et Christina Mosberger (David Stimson) de Peterborough; ses petits-enfants : Deborah, Jim, Jamie, Tracy-Lynn, Jade, Matthew, et Tiana; arrière-petits-enfants : Brianna, Hannah, Justin, Jordan, Evan, Morgan, Conor, Fiona, Ruth, Abraham, Howard, Ender, Maggie; et plusieurs arrière-arrière-petits-enfants; ainsi que trois sœurs : Madeleine Rivest, Léa Godard, et Lorraine Chartrand; et son petit-chien, Pichou.

Lynda reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mercredi 20 avril 2022, de 18h à 20h. Le service funéraire aura lieu le jeudi 21 avril, à 14h00, en l’église Immaculée-Conception, avec Père Rémi Lessard et Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrants. La crémation suivra au Crématoire Guenette.
