Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Madeleine Gauthier le mercredi 22 avril 2015 au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 86 ans. Elle fut membre des Filles d’Isabelle. Elle aimait la lecture, regarder la télévision et faire du bénévolat. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Daniel de Niagara Falls, Yvon de Sudbury, Béatrice Gauthier, Liliane Gauthier de Montréal, Lise Bélanger (Yvon) et Diane Ethier (Vital) de Kapuskasing, deux soeurs, Juliette Sauvé et Liliane Siriani de Niagara Falls, une belle-fille, Ida Gauthier de Niagara Falls, ainsi que quatre petits-enfants, Michelle, Melissa, Marc et Alexandre, quatre arrière-petits-enfants, Alicia, Kayla, Adèle et Anne. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Philippe, un frère, Julien Renaud et deux soeurs, Alice Breault et Simone Isaacson. Madeleine Gauthier reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le dimanche 26 avril de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 27 avril en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. L'inhumation printanière suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds de loisirs des résidents Extendicare. ©

We regret to announce the death of Madeleine Gauthier on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 86. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed reading, watching television and volunteering. She is survived by her children, Daniel of Niagara Falls, Yvon of Sudbury, Béatrice Gauthier, Liliane Gauthier of Montréal, Lise Bélanger (Yvon) and Diane Ethier (Vital) of Kapuskasing, two sisters, Juliette Sauvé and Liliane Siriani of Niagara Falls, one daughter-in-law, Ida Gauthier of Niagara Falls, as well as four grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Marc and Alexandre, four great-grandchildren, Alicia, Kayla, Adèle and Anne. She was predeceased by her husband Philippe, her siblings Julien Renaud, Alice Breault and Simone Isaacson. Madeleine Gauthier will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, April 26 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27 at Immaculée Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. Spring burial to follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Residents Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
