Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Marcel Séguin à l'âge de 89 ans, le dimanche 21 juin 2020, au foyer Extendicare de Kapuskasing. Comme passe-temps, Marcel aimait faire de la pêche, jouer au golf, la lecture, la chasse, le jardinage, et le camping.

Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte ses belles-filles : Judy Broadbent (Brian) de Montréal, Debbie Stenabaugh (Lorne) de Kapuskasing, Donna Santerre (Louis) de Petawawa et Sandra Bouchard (André) de Kapuskasing; dix petits-enfants et neuf arrière-petits-enfants; un frère, Yvon (Rita) de Kapuskasing; sa belle-fille, Debbie O'Rourke de Kapuskasing; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Joan; ses parents, Aurore et Alfred Séguin; son beau-fils, Barry Elliott; deux sœurs : Jacqueline Comeau et Jeannine Philipon; et quatre frères : Maurice, Gaston, Bernard et Jacques Séguin.

La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 26 juin, à 10h30, en l'église St. Patrick avec Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Refuge d’animaux de Kapuskasing ou la Banque alimentaire de Kapuskasing. ©



We regret to announce the death of Marcel Séguin at the age of 89 years, on June 21, 2020, at Extendicare Kapuskasing. In his spare time, Marcel enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading, hunting, gardening, and camping.

He will be greatly missed by four stepdaughters: Judy Broadbent (Brian) of Montreal, Debbie Stenabaugh (Lorne) of Kapuskasing, Donna Santerre (Louis) of Petawawa and Sandra Bouchard (André) of Kapuskasing; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Yvon (Rita) of Kapuskasing; his daughter-in-law: Debbie O'Rourke of Kapuskasing; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan; his parents, Aurore and Alfred Séguin; his stepson, Barry Elliott; two sisters: Jacqueline Comeau and Jeannine Philipon; and four brothers: Maurice, Gaston, Bernard and Jacques Séguin.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Animal Rescue Kapuskasing or the Kapuskasing Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. ©
