We regret to announce the death of Margret Babin on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 72. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and shopping. She is survived by her husband Marcel of Kapuskasing, her children, Mark Babin, husband of Sylvie Landriault-Babin of Kapuskasing and Suzanne Tober wife of Matthias Tober of Germany; one brother Wolfgang Filmer of Germany, two grandchildren: Vanessa Babin and Kevin Groleau of Kapuskasing as well as many nieces and nephews in Kapuskasing, Germany and Greece. She was predeceased by her parents Theresia and Karl Kalweit and two brothers, Günther Filmer and Karl-Heinz Kalweit. Margret Babin will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 2nd at the Kapuskasing Gospel Hall at 10:30 a.m. Spring burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Margret Babin le vendredi 28 décembre au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 72 ans. Elle aimait la pêche, cuisiner et magasiner. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Marcel de Kapuskasing, ses enfants, Mark époux de Sylvie Landriault-Babin de Kapuskasing et Suzanne Tober épouse de Matthias Tober de l’Allemagne; un frère, Wolfgang Filmer de l’Allemagne, deux petits-enfants: Vanessa Babin et Kevin Groleau de Kapuskasing, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces de Kapuskasing, l’Allemagne et la Grèce. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Theresia et Karl Kalweit, deux frères, Günther Filmer et Karl-Heinz Kalweit. Margret Babin reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mardi 1er janvier de 19h à 21h. Le service funèbre aura lieu le mercredi 2 janvier au Kapuskasing Gospel Hall à 10h30. L'inhumation printanière aura lieu au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société d'Alzheimer. ©
