Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Marie Bertin le samedi 11 janvier 2020 au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 96 ans. Elle aimait tricoter, coudre, regarder les romans et tricher au solitaire. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Diane Foden (Mike) de Kapuskasing, Carole Dunn (Charlie) de Calgary et René de Kelowna; un frère, Armand Boudreau; ainsi que sept petits-enfants : Debbie (John), Steven (Tina), Aimee (Travis), Tyler (Katie), Rachel, Helen et Matthew; neuf arrière-petits-enfants : Dylan (Katie), Hunter, Carter, Tex, Sunny, Brock, Parker, Ava et Therese; et un arrière-arrière-petit-fils, Gregory. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Hector; un fils, Denis; ainsi qu’une sœur, Cécile Lebrun; et deux frères : Gérard Boudreau et Léonard Boudreau. Marie Bertin reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le jeudi 16 janvier de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 17 janvier en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. L'inhumation printanière suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à une charité de votre choix. We regret to announce the death of Marie Bertin on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 96. She was a reserved woman who never wanted to bother anyone and had an infectious smile. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, watching soap operas and cheating at solitaire. She is survived by her children: Diane Foden (Mike) of Kapuskasing, Carole Dunn (Charlie) of Calgary and René of Kelowna; one brother, Armand Boudreau; as well as seven grandchildren: Debbie (John), Steven (Tina), Aimee (Tavis), Tyler (Katie), Rachel, Helen and Matthew; nine great-grandchildren: Dylan (Katie), Hunter, Carter, Tex, Sunny, Brock, Parker, Ava and Therese; one great-great-grandson, Gregory. She was predeceased by her husband Hector; one son, Denis; as well as her siblings: Cécile Lebrun, Gérard Boudreau and Léonard Boudreau. Marie Bertin will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16 from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. Spring burial will be held at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff for the exceptional care provided to our mother during the past twenty years.
