Obituary for Matthieu "Matt" St-Amour

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Matthieu St-Amour le jeudi 22 août 2019 à l’Hôpital Sunnybrook à Toronto à l'âge de 19 ans. Matthieu étudiait au Collège Cambrian dans le Programme de Mécanicien monteur. Il était un jeune homme à l’esprit ouvert, celui qui mettait l’ambiance dans une fête, une vraie légende. Il prenait plaisir à passer du temps avec ses amis, jouer au jeu Fortnite, faire de la motoneige et très fier de son auto. Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents : Nathalie et René de Kapuskasing; ses frères : Daniel (Amy) de Timmins et Maxime de Toronto; un neveu, Dustin; ainsi que ses grands-parents : Diane St-Amour de Kapuskasing, Lucie Fleming de Thunder Bay, Germain et Réjeanne D'Amours de Fauquier. Il fut prédécédé par son grand-père Rémi St-Amour et une nièce, Sarah St-Amour. Matthieu St-Amour reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le jeudi 29 août de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 30 août en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Rémi Lessard comme célébrant. #Saynomore www.guenettefuneral.com ©

We regret to announce the death of Matthieu St-Amour on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto at the age of 19 years. Matthieu was enrolled in his second year at Cambrian College in the Millwrighting Program. He was an outgoing person who was the life of the party, the legend. He enjoyed spending his time with his friends, playing Fortnite, snowmobiling and took great pride in his car. He is survived by his parents; Nathalie and René of Kapuskasing, his bothers; Daniel (Amy) of Timmins and Maxime of Toronto, one nephew, Dustin, as well as his grandparents, Diane St-Amour of Kapuskasing, Lucie Fleming of Thunder Bay, Réjeanne and Germain D’Amours of Fauquier. He was predeceased by his grandfather Rémi St-Amour and a niece, Sarah St-Amour. Matthieu St-Amour will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday, August 29 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30th at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Rémi Lessard officiating. Cremation will follow at the Northern Crematorium. #Saynomore. ©
