Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Melvin Lefebvre le mardi 11 août 2015 à Sensenbrenner Hospital à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 85 ans. Comme passe-temps, Melvin était passionné de l'histoire et de la généalogie. Il aimait aussi la photographie, le jardinage, la chasse et la pêche. Melvin n'a pas sa petite famille, mais il faisait une partie intégrante de sa grande famille élargie. Il tenait à coeur tous ses neveux et nièces et il était bien aimé de tous.
Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte quatre soeurs: Églantine Fortin épouse de feu Fern, Henriette Muus épouse de Pete tous d'Ottawa, Monique Gaulin épouse de Maurice et Louise Fortin épouse de Gerard tous de Kapuskasing; deux frères: Joseph A. époux de Louise de Moonbeam et Jean époux de Paulette d'Elmvale; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents: Henri et Evelyne Lefebvre; un frère, Norman et une soeur, Marie.
Melvin Lefebvre reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette vendredi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 15 août, à 10h30 en l'église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L'inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société d'arthrite ou à une oeuvre de bienfaisance de votre choix. ©

We regret to announce the death of Melvin Lefebvre on August 11, 2015 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 85 years. In his spare time, Melvin was passionate about history and especially genealogy. He also enjoyed photography, gardening, fishing and hunting. Melvin did not have his own little family, but was an integral part of his extended family. He cherished his nephews and nieces like they were his own children and he was beloved by all.
He will be greatly missed by his four sisters: Eglantine Fortin wife of the late Fern, Henriette Muus wife of Pete both of Ottawa, Monique Gaulin wife of Maurice and Louise Fortin wife of Gerard both of Kapuskasing; two brothers: Joseph A. husband of Louise of Moonbeam and Jean husband of Paulette of Elmvale; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents: Henri and Evelyne Lefebvre; one brother, Norman and one sister, Marie.
Melvin Lefebvre will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15th, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception church with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. ©
