We regret to announce the death of Michael Cymbalisty, at the age of 89 years, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. Mike was a selfless, giving man, who liked to please and help anyone and everyone. He was very personable and would start a conversation with anyone. Mike loved gardening, wood carving, puttering around in his garage, and playing cards.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Rosie; his children: Doris Forget (Denis), Lorette Cymbalisty (Shawn) and Kenneth (Linda) of Kapuskasing; sisteen grandchildren: Lee, Kevin, Abby, Ruby, Lance, Cassandra, Nathaniel, Andrew, Katie, Danielle, Mélanie, Sophie, Kelsey, Cassandra and Christopher; and ten great-grandchildren: Samantha, Cameron, Elizabeth, Sebastian, Hugo, Oliver, Elenore, Claire, Austin and Draden; his stepchildren: David Ouellette (Shawn) of Toronto, Ron Ouellette (Joanne) of Morrisburg and Laure Grant (Paul) of Englehart.
Mike was predeceased by his wife, Odéline, nee Claveau; his son, Dennis; and his parents, DeMetro and Margaret, and one grandson: Keven.
Michael will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's church, with Father John Okoh officiating. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation as expressions of sympathy. ©

Mike était un homme altruiste, donnant sans compter, qui aimait plaire et aider tous et chacun. Agréable et charmant, il lançait des conversations avec tous et toutes. Mike aimait jardiner, sculpter sur bois, bretter dans son garage, et jouer aux cartes.

Le service funéraire aura lieu le jeudi 4 janvier, à 10h30, à l’église St-Patrick, avec le Père John Okoh comme célébrant. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
