Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès hâtif de Michel Albert, à l'âge de 60 ans, le dimanche 29 mai 2022. Depuis toujours, Michel fut un grand sportif qui a joué au base-ball, au hockey et au golf; de plus, il a été entraineur de hockey mineur. Michel était un grand passionné de la pêche, en toutes saisons. Tout au long de sa vie, il a travaillé pour plusieurs entreprises en tant que mécanicien monteur. Présentement, il était à l’emploi du CSCDGR comme concierge à l’école St-Jules de Moonbeam.
Michel laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Angèle; son fils, Francis, de Moonbeam; sa mère Rhéa Albert, de Fauquier, deux frères : Pierre Albert de Fauquier et René Albert (Joanne Lefebvre) d'Espanola; une sœur, Suzanne Albert, de Timmins; un beau-frère, Robert Lauzon (Francine Duguay) de Moonbeam; trois belles-sœurs : Ginette Lauzon-Brassard de Mayo, QC; Suzy Lauzon (Larry Hill) d'Iroquois Falls et Carmelle Lauzon de Hearst; ses deux filleuls : Patrick Caron et Patrick Mercier; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Michel fut prédécédé par son père, Antoine; un frère, Gabriel (surnommé Gaby); et ses beaux-parents, Jeannette et Léo Lauzon.
La famille accueillera parents et amis au Centre Communautaire Raymond-Bouchard, le vendredi 10 juin 2022, de 13h à 16h et 19h à 21h, pour une célébration de la vie. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à Kidsport Kapuskasing comme témoignages de sympathie. ©

We regret to announce the sudden death of Michel Albert, at the age of 60 years, on Sunday, May 29, 2022. Michel was a versatile, life-long athlete who enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and golf; he even coached minor hockey. Michel was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing in all seasons. Throughout his career, he worked as a millwright for numerous companies. Michel was presently employed by the GRCDSB as janitor at École Catholique St-Jules de Moonbeam.
Michel is survived by his wife, Angèle Lauzon-Albert; his son, Francis of Moonbeam; his mother, Rhéa Albert of Fauquier; his siblings: Pierre Albert of Fauquier, René Albert (Joanne Lefebvre) of Espanola and Suzanne Albert of Timmins; one brother-in-law, Robert Lauzon (Francine Duguay) of Moonbeam; three sisters-in-law: Ginette Lauzon-Brassard of Mayo, QC; Suzy Lauzon (Larry Hill) of Iroquois Falls and Carmelle Lauzon of Hearst; two god-children: Patrick Caron and Patrick Mercier; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Michel was predeceased by his father, Antoine; one brother, Gabriel (aka Gaby); as well as his in-laws: Jeannette and Léo Lauzon.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Raymond Bouchard Community Centre in Moonbeam, on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Celebration of Life will be held. The family would greatly appreciate donations to Kidsport Kapuskasing as expressions of sympathy. ©
