We regret to announce the sudden passing of Michel (Mitch) LeBlanc on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his home at the age of 73 years. Mitch will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his incredible stories and his deft hand at crib. He will be dearly missed by his children, Janis LeBlanc (Lars Doyle) of Gatineau and Mark of Timmins; his grandsons: Anders and Henrik; his siblings, Jacques (Gloria) of Vancouver and Patricia LeBlanc of France; his sister-in-law: Laurie Bernier of Chatham; and his brothers-in-law: Jim Church of Windsor, Wayne Church (Carol) and Rick Church (Jane) all of Chatham; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Heather; his parents, Tom and Cécile; and by his sister, Danielle LeBlanc. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated. ©

On se souviendra toujours de pour son amour de la nature, ses histoires incroyables et sa dextérité lorsqu’il jouait au cribbage. Il sera grandement manqué par ses enfants: Janis LeBlanc (Lars Doyle) de Gatineau et Mark de Timmins; ses petits-fils: Anders et Henrik; son frère et sa sœur : Jacques (Gloria) de Vancouver et Patricia LeBlanc de France; sa belle-soeur: Laurie Bernier de Chatham; et ses beaux-frères: Jim Church de Windsor, Wayne Church (Carol) et Rick Church (Jane) tous de Chatham; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces, cousins et cousines. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse bien-aimée, Heather; ses parents, Tom et Cécile; et sa soeur, Danielle LeBlanc. Une célébration de la vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Armée du Salut. ©
