Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Mona Brière à l'âge de 62 ans, le vendredi 19 juin 2020, à l’Hôpital Smooth Rock Falls. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait faire du camping, la chasse et la pêche, ainsi que jouer aux cartes, surtout au Canasta et au 500.

Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte son conjoint, Gilles Michaud de Kapuskasing; ses enfants : Kim Gendron (Don Boulianne) de Hammond, et Jimmy Gendron (Jen Slynn) d'Ottawa; cinq petits-enfants : Nève, Axelle, Cody, Kyle et Payton; deux sœurs : Nikol Tremblay (Cyrille) de Moonbeam et Nancy Siebert de Kapuskasing; deux beaux-frères : Frank Siebert de Kapuskasing et Yves Michaud de Val-Rita; deux belles-sœurs : Diane Michaud et Louise Michaud tous de Kapuskasing; son amie de vie, Joanne St-Croix de Moonbeam; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Sally et Don Brière; et un frère, Paul Brière.

Un service funéraire aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Centre de santé communautaire de Kapuskasing et région. ©



We regret to announce the death of Mona Brière at the age of 62 years, on June 19, 2020, at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital. In her spare time, Mona enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and playing cards, especially Canasta and 500.

She will be greatly missed by her spouse: Gilles Michaud of Kapuskasing; her children: Kim Gendron (Don Boulianne) of Hammond, and Jimmy Gendron (Jen Slynn) of Ottawa; five grandchildren: Nève, Axelle, Cody, Kyle and Payton; two sisters: Nikol Tremblay (Cyrille) of Moonbeam and Nancy Siebert of Kapuskasing; two brothers-in-law: Frank Siebert of Kapuskasing and Yves Michaud of Val-Rita; two sisters-in-law, Diane Michaud and Louise Michaud all of Kapuskasing; her lifelong friend, Joanne St-Croix of Moonbeam; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Sally and Don Brière; and one brother, Paul Brière.

A funeral service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Centre de santé communautaire de Kapuskasing et région would be greatly appreciated. ©
