Obituary for Muriel Carrière (Pavanoff)

We regret to announce the death of Muriel Carrière on Saturday, May 26 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury at the age of 81. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, weaving and needle point. She is survived by five children, Bryan husband of Lorraine of Loretto, Carol Ann Carrière of Ottawa, Kenneth husband of Isabelle Boulet of Val-Rita, Danielle Carrière-Boulet wife of Julien of Timmins and Pauline Carrière companion of Paul McCauley of Fenlon Falls, one brother, Roger Therrien husband of Yvonne of Kapuskasing and one sister, Angeline Michaud wife of Lucien of Val-Rita, as well as nine grandchildren, Abbigail, Jennifer, Ian-Guy, Martin, Matthieu, Mireille, Jenna, Kayla and Brittany, three great-granddaughters, Kelly-Louise, Janelle and Sara. She was predeceased by her husband, Léo. Muriel Carrière will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31st at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. Burial to follow at the Val-Rita cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
