Nous vous annonçons avec profond regret que Normand Lamontagne nous a quittés paisiblement à l'âge de 89 ans, le lundi 29 juin 2020, au Manoir North Centennial. Il est allé rejoindre son épouse Gaëtane (née Tremblay) qui l’a précédé dans la mort. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Louis (Patricia Serrell) et Mona Lamontagne (Glenn Cowan); ses petits-enfants: Jay Ashleigh et Samantha Lamontagne ainsi que Erich Chmiel (Lauren Cowley); un frère, Rhéal, deux sœurs, Suzette Lecours et Edith Lamontagne, deux belles-sœurs, Claudette Tremblay et Gaby Grzela (née Tremblay) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut également précédé dans la mort par trois frères, Gaston, Gaëtan et Jean-Claude. Louis et Mona remercient sincèrement la « grande famille » du Manoir North Centennial pour l’expression de leur compassion, les soins attentifs prodigués et le grand respect de la dignité de Normand pendant son séjour parmi eux. En raison des circonstances liées à la COVIDE-19, la célébration eucharistique aura lieu à une date ultérieure en l’église Immaculée-Conception. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante de dons au Manoir North Centennial. ©

It is with great sadness that we announce that Normand Lamontagne passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years, on Monday, June 29, 2020 at North Centennial Manor. He has reunited with his spouse Gaëtane (née Tremblay) who has preceded him in death. He leaves in mourning his children: Louis (Patricia Serrell) and Mona Lamontagne (Glenn Cowan); his grandchildren: Jay Ashleigh and Samantha Lamontagne, as well as Erich Chmiel (Lauren Cowley); one brother Rhéal, two sisters, Suzette Lecours and Edith Lamontagne and two sisters-in-law, Claudette Tremblay and Gaby Grzela (née Tremblay), as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers: Gaston, Gaëtan and Jean-Claude. Louis and Mona offer sincere thanks to the “great family” at North Centennial Manor for showing their compassion, for the particular care provided, and their demonstration of great respect for Normand’s dignity during his stay among them. Due to circumstances related to COVID-19, a Celebration of the Eucharist will take place at a later date at Immaculée-Conception church. As expressions of sympathy, the family will gratefully acknowledge donations to North Centennial Manor. ©
