Obituary for Reino Timberg

We regret to announce the death of Reino Timberg on Friday August 1, 2014 at North Centennial Manor, Kapuskasing at the age of 95 years. He is survived by his children: Robert husband of Heather of Toronto, Lloyd husband of Lynne of Burlington, Kathryn Vachon wife of Jean of Smith Falls; 10 grandchildren: Michel, Eric, Stefane, Anne, Allison, Evert, Morgan, Laina, Richard and Danny as well as 1 great grandchild and 1 sister: Lyla Martin of Orillia. He was predeceased by his wife Anna, his father Konstantin (Timperi) Timberg, his mother Laina Kinnari who died when he was 9 months old, his step-mother Ethel Leitch, 2 brothers: George and Edward; 4 sisters: May, Viola, Elsie and Violet. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, spending time at the cottage at Remi Lake and the company of his grandchildren. He was a great amateur baseball and softball player in his younger days, and lived and died with the fortunes of the Cleveland Indians and later the Blue Jays. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to North Centennial Manor resident’s fund would be greatly appreciated.
