Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Rita Lozier à l'âge de 97 ans, paisiblement, le dimanche 20 décembre 2020, au Manoir North Centennial. Elle était membre de l'UCFO. Elle aimait jouer aux cartes, tricoter, tisser et voyager. Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte ses cinq fils : Albert (Françoise), Fernand (Mona) d'Ottawa, Jacques (Diane) de Sudbury, Michel (Yves) de Toronto et François de Kapuskasing; deux sœurs : Maria Ouellette (feu Antonin) de Sudbury et Yvette Lepage de Kapuskasing; trois frères : Lucien (feue Marthe), Jean-Guy de Kapuskasing et Maurice de Calgary; sept belles-sœurs et beaux-frères : Laurette Fortin de Sudbury, Églantine Fortin d’Ottawa, Henriette Fortin de Calgary, Marcella Fortin, Rita Fortin, Denise Fortin et André Lepage de Kapuskasing; ainsi que cinq petits-enfants : Stéphane, Jean-François, Anne-Marie, Olivia et Tina; et neuf arrière-petits-enfants : Augustin, Étienne, Maël, Sébastien, Nicholas, André, Raphaël, Ryan et Sophie.
Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Augustin; ses parents, Letitia et Aimé Fortin; ses frères : Louis, Edouard, Fernand, Paul, Raymond et Roland Fortin. Rita Lozier reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mardi 22 décembre, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mercredi 23 décembre en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Manoir North Centennial. ©

Si vous ne pouvez pas, vous pouvez appeler le salon funéraire pendant nos heures normales d’ouverture seulement, de 9h00 à 16h30.
Le nombre maximum permis à l’église Immaculée-Conception est 50 personnes et aucun rassemblement n’est permis à l’extérieur. Au cimetière, nous sommes limités à 10 personnes. Toute personne présente doit porter un masque approprié ou autre couvre-visage qui convient en tout temps. Toute personne doit se laver les mains à l'aide d'un désinfectant pour les mains.
Nous n’acceptons pas de dons ni demandes de messes. On peut faire des dons Manoir North Centennial sur notre site Web ou en expédiant un chèque directement à la charité.
Toute personne doit observer les conseils sur la santé et la sécurité des autorités compétentes, y compris la distanciation physique de deux mètres pour les gens qui ne font pas partie d’un même ménage ou de leur cercle social établi de 10 personnes.

We regret to announce the death of Rita Lozier at the age of 97, peacefully, on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at North Centennial Manor. She was a member of the UCFO. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, weaving, and travelling. She is survived by her five sons: Albert (Françoise), Fernand (Mona) of Ottawa, Jacques (Diane) of Sudbury, Michel (Yves) of Toronto, and François of Kapuskasing; her siblings: Maria Ouellette (late Antonin) of Sudbury, Yvette Lepage, Lucien (late Marthe), Jean-Guy of Kapuskasing, and Maurice of Calgary; seven brothers and sisters-in-law: Laurette Fortin of Sudbury, Églantine Fortin of Ottawa, Henriette Fortin of Calgary, Marcella Fortin, Rita Fortin, Denise Fortin, and André Lepage of Kapuskasing; as well as five grandchildren: Stéphane, Jean-François, Anne-Marie, Olivia, and Tina; and nine great-grandchildren: Augustin, Étienne, Maël, Sébastien, Nicholas, André, Raphaël, Ryan, and Sophie.
She was predeceased by her husband Augustin; her parents, Letitia and Aimé Fortin; six brothers: Louis, Edouard, Fernand, Paul, Raymond, and Roland Fortin. Rita Lozier will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©

All persons wishing to attend the visitation or the funeral at the church must register their attendance with the funeral home, in advance. You may do so by using the online RSVP feature below, or by sending an email to staffgfh@outlook.com . If you are unable, you may call the funeral home during our regular business hours only, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The maximum number of people allowed at the Immaculée-Conception church is 50, and no gathering is permitted outside. At the cemetery, we are limited to 10 participants. Every person present must wear a suitable mask or other appropriate face covering at all times. Visitors must also clean their hands with hand sanitizer.
No memorial donations or mass cards will be accepted. Please mail all donations directly to the North Centennial Manor or make an online donation through our website.
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres for people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle.
