Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Roger Bizier le dimanche 3 mai 2020, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner, à l'âge de 72 ans, après une lutte courageuse contre le cancer. Il fut membre des Chevaliers de Colomb et aimait passer du temps au chalet avec sa famille, voyager, passer ses hivers en Floride et jouer au curling. Roger était une personne très sociable qui aimait jaser avec tout le monde. Il fut le propriétaire de City Motors Ltd. pendant 26 ans, commençant dans le service des pièces, puis gravissant les échelons jusqu’à la direction.
Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse Angèle; son fils Richard (Nancy) de Kapuskasing; cinq petits-enfants : Andréanne (Ryan), Renaud (Bri), Justin, Sylvain et Mya; une belle-fille, Anne Gaudet; deux frères : Maurice (Lynne) et Normand de Smooth Rock Falls; un beau-frère, Jean Couture (Alayne) de Smooth Rock Falls, deux belle-soeurs: Diane Richard et Rachelle Couture de Smooth Rock Falls; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son fils Raymond; sa sœur, Louise Bizier; ainsi que ses parents, Roland et Irène.
La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 22 août à 11h00 en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner ou la Société canadienne du cancer. La famille désire remercier les infirmières et les médecins pour les excellents soins prodigués pendant sa maladie. ©

Le nombre maximum permis à l’église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires est 100 personnes et aucun rassemblement n’est permis à l’extérieur. Au cimetière, nous sommes limités à 50 personnes. Toute personne présente doit porter un masque approprié ou autre couvre-visage qui convient en tout temps.
Nous n’acceptons pas de dons ni demandes de messes. On peut faire des dons à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner ou la Société canadienne du cancer sur notre site Web ou en expédiant un chèque directement à la charité.

We regret to announce the death of Roger Bizier on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the Sensenbrenner Hospital, at the age of 72 after a courageous battle with cancer. Roger was the proud owner of City Motors Ltd. for 26 years, starting out in the parts department and working his way up. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his family, curling, travelling and wintering in Florida. He was very sociable and would talk to everybody.
He is survived by his loving wife Angèle; his son Richard (Nancy) of Kapuskasing; five grandchildren: Andréanne (Ryan), Renaud (Bri), Justin, Sylvain and Mya; one daughter-in-law, Anne Gaudet; two brothers: Maurice (Lynne) and Normand of Smooth Rock Falls; one brother-in-law: Jean Couture (Alayne) of Smooth Rock Falls, two sisters-in-law: Diane Richard and Rachelle Couture of Smooth Rock Falls; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Raymond; his sister, Louise Bizier; and his parents, Roland and Irène.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the nursing and medical staff for the excellent care provided. ©

All persons wishing to attend the funeral at the church must register their attendance with the funeral home, in advance. You may do so by using the online RSVP feature below, or by sending an email to staffgfh@outlook.com
The maximum number of people allowed at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church is 100, and no gathering is permitted outside. At the cemetery, we are limited to 50 participants. Every person present must wear a suitable mask or other appropriate face covering at all times.
No memorial donations or mass cards will be accepted. Please mail all donations directly to the Sensenbrenner Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society or make an online donation through our website.
Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres for people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle.
