We regret to announce the death of Roland Tessier on June 24, 2019 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 72 years. In his spare time, he loved to go fishing, as well as watch hockey, especially when his grandchildren were playing. Roland was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his children: Tracy (Chantale) of Smooth Rock Falls, Shelley Bond (Mark) of Waterdown, and Stacey Desbiens (René) of Kapuskasing; his grandchildren: Cherryl, Adam, Andrew, Lucas, Noah, Korey, Amy, and Will; his great-grandchildren: Kadence, Malakai, Gabriel, and Sawyer; as well as his siblings: Yvonne Ducharme (Fred) of Creston, BC, Fern Tessier (Alley) of Edmonton, and Patrick O'Malley (Christine) of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Evelyne Tessier.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital Hospice Suite would be greatly appreciated. ©

Comme passe-temps, il adorait faire de la pêche, ainsi que regarder le hockey, surtout lorsque ses petits-enfants jouaient. Roland était un père et grand-papa dévoué qui sera grandement manqué par ses enfants: Tracy (Chantale) de Smooth Rock Falls, Shelley Bond (Mark) de Waterdown, et Stacey Desbiens (René) de Kapuskasing; ses petits-enfants: Cherryl, Adam, Andrew, Lucas, Noah, Korey, Amy et Will; ses arrière-petits-enfants: Kadence, Malakai, Gabriel et Sawyer; ainsi que ses frères et sa sœur : Yvonne Ducharme (Fred) de Creston, CB, Fern Tessier (Alley) d’Edmonton, et Patrick O'Malley (Christine) de Kapuskasing. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Roger et Evelyne Tessier.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Suite d’Hospice de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. ©
