He was an active member of the community and enjoyed volunteering with various organizations, mainly the NorthernTel Pioneers, as well as the CNIB where he repaired and maintained talking books. After his retirement, he also took up woodworking and loved to give handmade furniture to his family. Ross was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and in his spare time, enjoyed curling, repairing computers, fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rhoda and Andrew Reid.

Ross Reid will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ernest Bauserman officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital CT Scan Fund or the CNIB would be greatly appreciated. ©
