Obituary for Serge Forest

Serge Forest
We regret to announce the death of Serge Forest on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 82. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for the past 25 years, where he was actively involved. He is survived by six children, Lilianne Forest (Alan Simard), Angélina Tremblay (André), Michel (Claudianne Gorman), of Kapuskasing, Ginette McWhirter (Brian) of Fenelon Falls, Lionel (Jean-Guy Faucher) of Ottawa and Jeannine Forest (Ron Beaulieu) of Val Rita, as well as ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Jacqueline Lozier. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 30th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Serge Forest le vendredi 13 mars 2015 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 82 ans. Il aimait aller à la pêche et la chasse. Il fut un fier membre d’Alcooliques Anonymes pendant 25 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil six enfants, Lilianne Forest (Alan Simard), Angélina Tremblay (André), Michel (Claudianne Gorman) de Kapuskasing, Ginette McWhirter (Brian) de Fenelon Falls, Lionel (Jean-Guy Faucher) d'Ottawa et Jeannine Forest (Ron Beaulieu) de Val-Rita, ainsi que dix petits-enfants et six arrière-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse Jacqueline Lozier. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 30 mars en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Societé canadienne du cancer. ©
