Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Simon Chartrand le mercredi 10 septembre 2014 à Moncton, N.B. à l'âge de 50 ans. Simon adorait vivre au lac. C'était un homme habile à tout faire qui avait une passion pour sa Harley-Davidson, la motoneige, le plein air, la chasse et sa famille. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Nathalie, deux enfants, Janick et Maxim, ses parents d’adoption de fait, Lorraine et Bruno de Moonbeam, deux frères, Keith (Christine) de Moonbeam et Kevin (Julie) de Chelmsford, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son père Émilio et sa mère Monique. Simon Chartrand reposera à la salle paroissiale Nativité-de-Marie le lundi 15 septembre de 19h à 21h et mardi à partir de 13h suivi de la célébration eucharistique à 15h00 avec le Père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. We regret to announce the death of Simon Chartrand on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Moncton Hospital at the age of 50. Simon was a talented and skilled man who loved living at the lake. He had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson, snowmobiling, enjoying the outdoors, hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Nathalie; two children, Janick and Maxim; his adoptive parents, Lorraine and Bruno of Moonbeam; two brothers, Keith (Christine) of Moonbeam and Kevin (Julie) of Chelmsford; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Émilio and his mother, Monique. Simon Chartrand will be resting at the Nativité-de-Marie parish hall in Moonbeam on Monday, September 15th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating.
