A la douce mémoire de Sylvain « Le Chat » Rioux, qui est décédé le 24 mai, 2019 à Kapuskasing à l’âge de 58 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents, Roger et Gisèle Rioux, ses frères Daniel (Johanne), Yves (Mariane), Luc, feu André, sa chère sœur Carole (Randy Cass) et son ex-conjointe Sylvie Demers, sa belle-fille Chantal ainsi que son grand ami Michel « McCoy » Roy. Il sera manqué par plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Sylvain avait beaucoup de talent dans la menuiserie. Son passe-temps favori était de boucaner le garage à McCoy et boire sa Bleu.

Au lieu de fleurs S.V.P. faire un don à une oeuvre de charité de votre choix.

La famille recevra les condoléances au Salon Funéraire Guenette, le samedi 1 juin de 9h00 à 10h00. Le service aura lieu dans la chapelle au Salon funéraire à 10h00.



In loving memory of Sylvain “Le Chat” Rioux, who passed away on May 24, in Kapuskasing at the age of 58. Cherished son of Roger and Gisèle Rioux. Loving brother of Daniel (Johanne), Yves (Mariane), Carole (Randy Cass), Luc, late Andre and ex-wife Sylvie Demers, step-daughter Chantal and dear friend Michel “McCoy” Roy. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Sylvain excelled in carpentry and his favorite pastime was making box stove fires in McCoy's garage while smoking and drinking his Blue.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

The family will receive family and friend on June 1 at 9:00 a.m. at the Guenette Funeral Home followed by a service in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.
