Obituary for Wayne Chapman

We regret to announce the death of Wayne Chapman on Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Kapuskasing at the age of 65. He enjoyed fishing, camping, travelling and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He is survived by his wife Louise of Kapuskasing, one son, Todd Chapman of Halifax, two step-sons, Marc Dagenais (Ann) of Moonbeam and Michel Dagenais of Kapuskasing, a half sister, Dawn Renaud, as well as four grandchildren, Destinee, Stéphanie, Jared and Dawson. He was predeceased by his father Bill and a grandson, Michael. The funeral service was held in the Guenette Funeral Home Chapel with Father at Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Wayne Chapman le jeudi 13 mars 2014 à l'âge de 65 ans. Il aimait aller à la pêche, le camping, et voyager. C’était un partisan passionné des Maple Leafs de Toronto. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Louise de Kapuskasing, un fils, Todd Chapman de Halifax, deux beaux-fils, Marc Dagenais époux d’Ann de Moonbeam et Michel Dagenais de Kapuskasing, une demi-soeur, Dawn Renaud, ainsi que quatre petits-enfants, Destinee, Stéphanie, Jared et Dawson. Il fut prédécédé par son père Bill et un petit-fils, Michael. Un service commémoratif a eu lieu dans la Chapelle du Salon Funéraire Guenette avec le Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’organisation Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing ou l’Association canadienne du diabète. ©
