Obituary for Yvette Mainville

We regret to announce the death of Yvette Mainville on June 29, 2015 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 90 years. Yvette was a member of the Catholic Woman's League and the Sensenbrenner Hospital Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, especially bridge at the Legion, walking, sewing and knitting. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, as well as a caring grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter: Pauline Bertrand wife of Gerry of Kapuskasing; two granddaughters: Renée Fortin wife of Pierre of Thunder Bay and Andrea Bertrand Gendron wife of Alain Gendron of Kapuskasing; four great-grandchildren: Noah, Maxime, Marie-Neige and Raphaëlle; three sisters: Dorothy Souliere of Sudbury, Rita Morgan of Toronto and Helen McGregor of Pembroke; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lennox; her parents, Léonne and Jean Scanlan; and seven siblings: Marcel John, Jackie, Marie, Simone, Pierrette and Cécile.
A memorial service for Yvette will be held on Friday, July 3rd at St. Patrick's at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d'Yvette Mainville le lundi 29 juin 2015 au Manoir North Centennial à l'âge de 90 ans. Yvette était membre de la Ligue des femmes catholiques et l'auxiliaire de l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait jouer aux quilles, jouer aux cartes, surtout le bridge à la Légion, aller pour des marches, coudre et tricoter. Elle était une mère dévouée à sa fille, ainsi qu'une grand-mère et arrière-grand-mère attentive.
Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte sa fille, Pauline Bertrand épouse de Gerry de Kapuskasing; deux petites-filles: Renée Fortin épouse de Pierre de Thunder Bay et Andrea Bertrand Gendron épouse d'Alain Gendron de Kapuskasing; quatre arrière-petits-enfants: Noah, Maxime, Marie-Neige et Raphaëlle; trois soeurs: Dorothy Souliere de Sudbury, Rita Morgan de Toronto et Helen McGregor de Pembroke; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Lennox; ses parents, Léonne et Jean Scanlan; et deux frères et cinq soeurs: Marcel, John, Jackie, Marie, Simone, Pierrette et Cécile.
La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 3 juillet, en l'église St Patrick à 10h30 avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société d'Alzheimer. ©
