We regret to announce the death of Yvonne Drouin on August 23, 2011 at the age of 84 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and canning. She is survived by her husband, Lionel; five children: Louise Dalton wife of Clyde of Kapuskasing, Gisèle French wife of Jim of Calgary, Maurice Gauvin of Kapuskasing, Denis Gauvin husband of Lise of Moonbeam and Michel Gauvin husband of Nicole of Kapuskasing; one brother-in-law, Edouard Drouin of Kapuskasing; one sister-in-law, Jeanne Boissoneault of Lively; as well as 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 10:30 a.m. in the Guenette Funeral Home chapel with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
