Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Edouard McLaughlin le lundi 26 septembre à l'âge de 60 ans. Il aimait bretter chez lui, travailler le fer et le bois, voyager, jardiner sur la terre natale, faire des feux dans la cour et passer du temps avec ses petits trésors. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Carole, ses enfants, Michel Albert (Stacey) de Sudbury, Derick McLaughlin et Krystle McLaughlin (Patrick Bérubé) de Kapuskasing, sa mère, Jeanne D'Arc McLaughlin de Val-Rita, ses frères et soeurs, Jean-Marc, Joanne Thiffault (Paul), Patsy Thiffault (Gilles) de Val-Rita, Blanche Préjeant (Sonny Chmilewski) de Fauquier, Roger (Florence), Suzanne Landriault (Roger), Rita Gagné (feu Claude), Guy (Linda), Normand (Rachelle) et Yvette McLaughlin (Stefan Petrovic) de Kapuskasing, Lise Godin (Ben Raby) de Strickland, ainsi que quatre petites-filles, Oceana, Miley, Julia et Eden-Rose. Il fut prédécédé par son père, Gilbert. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mercredi 5 octobre en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires à 10h30 avec le Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation canadienne du rein. ©

We regret to announce the death of Edouard McLaughlin on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the age of 60. Edouard enjoyed keeping himself busy with different projects, travelling, gardening, working on the family acreage, building bon fires and spending time with his four granddaughters. He is survived by his wife Carole, his children, Michel Albert (Stacey) of Sudbury, Derick McLaughlin and Krystle McLaughlin (Patrick Bérubé) of Kapuskasing, his mother, Jeanne D'Arc McLaughlin of Val-Rita, his siblings, Jean-Marc, Joanne Thiffault (Paul), Patsy Thiffault (Gilles) of Val-Rita, Blanche Préjeant (Sonny Chmilewski) of Fauquier, Roger (Florence), Suzanne Landriault (Roger), Rita Gagné (feu Claude), Guy (Linda), Normand (Rachelle) et Yvette McLaughlin (Stefan Petrovic) of Kapuskasing, Lise Godin (Ben Raby) of Strickland, as well as his four granddaughters, Oceana, Miley, Julia et Eden-Rose. He was predeceased by his father, Gilbert. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 5th at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©
