Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Fernand Michaud le lundi 30 novembre 2015 à l'Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 77 ans. Comme passe-temps, Fernand adorait aller à la chasse, la pêche et faire du camping, ainsi que bretter dans son garage.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 50 ans, Elisabeth; ses enfants: Louis époux de Sue de Cargil, Louise Costain épouse de Alfred de Owen Sound, Yvette Quevillon époux Marc de Timmins, et Fernand époux de Josée de Moonbeam; sept petits-enfants: Richard, Éric, Keith, Maria, Jessica, Sierra, et William; trois arrière-petits-enfants: Summer, Emma, Mia, et un qui s'en vient; deux frères: Charles, et Ange-Aimé tous de Val-Rita; trois soeurs: Rose Bobar de Hamilton, Aurore Brière de Kapuskasing, et Desneiges Jette de Val-Rita; ainsi que plusieurs amis. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Laura et Lucien Michaud; et quatre frères: Lucien, Gérard, Maurice, et Domina Michaud.

Fernand Michaud reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette jeudi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 4 décembre, en l'église St-Antoine-de-Padoue à 10h30 avec Diacre Jean Beausoleil comme célébrant. L'inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Val-Rita. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l'Association canadienne du diabète ou la Société canadienne du cancer. ©


We regret to announce the death of Fernand Michaud on November 30, 2015 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 77 years. In his spare time, Fernand enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, as well as spending time in his garage.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Elisabeth; his children: Louis husband of Sue of Cargil, Louise Costain wife of Alfred of Owen Sound, Yvette Quevillon wife of Marc of Timmins, and Fernand husband of Josée of Moonbeam; seven grandchildren: Richard, Éric, Keith, Maria, Jessica, Sierra, and William; three great-grandchildren: Summer, Emma, Mia, as well as one on the way; two brothers: Charles, and Ange-Aimé all of Val-Rita; three sisters: Rose Bobar of Hamilton, Aurore Brière of Kapuskasing, and Desneiges Jette of Val-Rita; as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Laura and Lucien Michaud; and four brothers: Lucien, Gérard, Maurice, and Domina Michaud.

Fernand Michaud will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 4th at St-Antoine-of-Padoue at 10:30 a.m. with Deacon Jean Beausoleil officiating. Burial will follow at the Val-Rita Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
