It is with sadness we announce the passing of Fernande Bromilow (nee Chevalier, better known as Fern) on July 20, 2018 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury at the age of 85 years.

She will be greatly missed by her children: William (Paulette) of London, Michael of Campbell River, BC, and Patricia De Santi (Luigi) of Stratford, ON; seven grandchildren: Angela Hall-Snider (Lee), James Bromilow (James), Marie-Lynn Askew (Adam), Gillian Bromilow (Ben), Jess De Santi, Kevin Bromilow (Ashley), and Michael De Santi (Michelle); five great-grandchildren: Joshua, Tyler, Cohen, Sawyer, and Evelyn; as well as her siblings: Roland (Fleurette) of Val-Rita, Lise Godin (Florent) of Kapuskasing, and Eliane Tremblay (Aimé) of Val Rita. She was predeceased by her husband: William; a daughter, Madelyn Hall and son-in-law, Douglas; her parents: Joseph and Corona Chevalier; and four siblings: Maurice Chevalier, Robert Chevalier, Marcel Chevalier, and Marie-Rose Santerre. The family would like to thank all the people at Health Sciences North, especially Dr. Boudreau, who helped care for Mom over the last years. We offer a special thank you to April and Lillian for their extra special care and friendship.

Fern will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. ©

Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte ses enfants : William (Paulette) de London, Michael de Campbell River, BC, et Patricia De Santi (Luigi) de Stratford, ON; sept petits-enfants : Angela Hall-Snider (Lee), James Bromilow (James), Marie-Lynn Askew (Adam), Gillian Bromilow (Ben), Jess De Santi, Kevin Bromilow (Ashley), et Michael De Santi (Michelle); cinq arrière-petits-enfants : Joshua, Tyler, Cohen, Sawyer, et Evelyn; ainsi que un frère : Roland (Fleurette) de Val-Rita; et deux sœurs : Lise Godin (Florent) de Kapuskasing et Eliane Tremblay (Aimé) de Val Rita. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, William; une fille, Madelyn Hall et son beau-fils, Douglas; ses parents : Joseph et Corona Chevalier; et quatres quatre frères et une sœur : Maurice Chevalier, Robert Chevalier, Marcel Chevalier, et Marie-Rose Santerre. La famille aimerait remercier tous ceux qui travaille à Horizon Santé-Nord, surtout Dr Boudreau, pour leurs bons soins de prodigués à maman les ces dernières années. Un remerciement spécial à April et Lilian pour leur soutien et leur amitié.

Fern reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette jeudi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le vendredi 27 juillet à 11h00 dans la chapelle du salon funéraire avec Père Hervé sauvé comme célébrant. La famille sera reconnaissante des dons au à la Fondation du Nord en cancérologie ou l’Association pulmonaire comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
