Florent "Jos" Godin
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Florent "Jos" Godin le dimanche 19 avril 2015 à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 81 ans. Il était membre fondateur de La Forge Jos Godin et il y a fait une visite chaque jour pendant 35 ans. Il était aussi membre des Chevaliers de Colomb et de l'Association de sclérose en plaques. Il passait ses étés au chalet pendant 40 ans et aimait faire la pêche, la chasse et le jardinage. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse, Lise; une fille, Diane de Kapuskasing; un fils, Daniel époux d'Angèle de Moonbeam; ainsi que deux petits-fils: Rémi Godin de Moonbeam et Tyler Thrones de Sudbury. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents: Joseph et Arthemise Godin; deux frères: Nelson et Donat; et un neveu, Jean-Guy Godin.
Florent "Jos" Godin reposera à La Forge jeudi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 24 avril à 10h00 à l'église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant.

We regret to announce the death of Florent "Jos" Godin on April 19, 2015 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 81 years. He was a founding member of La Forge Jos Godin which he visited every day for 35 years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. For 40 years he spent his summers at the cottage and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Lise; one daughter, Diane Godin of Kapuskasing; one son, Daniel husband of Angèle of Moonbeam; as well as two grandchildren: Rémi Godin of Moonbeam and Tyler Thrones of Sudbury. He was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Arthemise; two brothers Nelson and Donat; and one nephew, Jean-Guy Godin.
. Florent "Jos" Godin will be resting at La Forge on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24th at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception church with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating.
