James "Jim"  Timmins
We regret to announce the death of James Timmins on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 79. He enjoyed fishing, painting and playing the guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and harmonica. He was a past member of the Canadian Army Reserves, Infantry Division. He is survived by his wife Mona Bélanger-Timmins of Fauquier, three children, Elizabeth Timmins (Robert Urquart), Marie-Louise Cooper (Darren) of London and James Jr. (Vivian) of Toronto, three siblings, Thomas Timmins (Lynn) of Batchwana Bay, John Paige (Penney) of London and Veronica Aubie (Eddy) of Bathurst, N.B., three grandchildren, Victoria Simkowski (Paul), Andrea Zackzek (Peter) and Serenity Timmins, four great-grandchildren, Nathalia, Matthew, Nathan and Lucas, as well as his mother-in-law, Lucette Bélanger of Strickland and his brother-in-law, Daniel Bélanger (Yvette) of Smooth Rock Falls. James Timmins will be resting at the Fauquier Community Centre on Sunday, March 1st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2nd at the Ste-Agnes church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de James Timmins le vendredi 27 février 2015 à l’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls à l'âge de 79 ans. Il aimait la pêche, la peinture, jouer de la guitare, sa mandoline, le violon, le banjo et son harmonica. Il fut membre des réserves des Forces armées canadiennes, division d’infanterie. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Mona Bélanger-Timmins de Fauquier, trois enfants, Elizabeth Timmins (Robert Urquart), Marie-Louise Cooper (Darren) de London et James Jr. (Vivian) de Toronto, ses frères et soeurs, Thomas Timmins (Lynn) de Batchawana Bay, John Paige (Penney) de London et Veronica Aubie (Eddy) de Bathurst, N.B., trios trois petits-enfants, Victoria Simkowski (Paul), Andrea Zackzek (Peter) et Serenity Timmins, quatre arrière-petits-enfants, Nathalia, Matthew, Nathan et Lucas, ainsi que sa belle-mère, Lucette Bélanger de Strickland et son beau-frère Daniel Bélanger (Yvette) de Smooth Rock Falls. James Timmins reposera au Centre communautaire de Fauquier le dimanche 1er mars de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 2 mars en l'église Ste-Agnès à 10h30 avec le Père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls Hospital ou la Société canadienne du cancer.
