Obituary for Jean-Guy "Gus" Boulianne

Jean-Guy "Gus" Boulianne
In Loving Memory of Jean-Guy (Gus ) Boulianne

Born October 26 1928 - Gus passed away peacefully May 8th 2016 - clutching the hand of the love of his life - his wife Carole.

Gus is survived by his many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as his brothers and sisters. Brothers and sisters Sue, Charlotte, George, Marie-Paul, Frank, Benny, Rene, and Marc ( pre-deceased by Jimmy and Jeannine) and their spouses Estelle, Sally, Sophie

Gus will be forever remembered in the hearts of his children Guy (Chum), Denyse, Jack, Terry, Michael, and Debbie; his grandchildren Jesse, Tyler, Darcy, Crystal, Kristin, Megan as well as his great grandchildren - Arianna, Max, Cody, Zachary, Evan, Rayden and great-great-grandchild - Bennett

Gus was deeply loved by other family members, Robin, Bill Sara, Lize and Wanda, and Yves, Barry, Purcell, Greg and Curtis. Gus had so many friends and neighbors who loved him, they are literally too many to mention. But you know who you are.

Gus was a man of great compassion and humor who faced every day of his life with a smile. His easy-going nature was infectious and everyone felt better after just a few moments with him. It was a rare gift and upon reflection is one that he would like to share with us all. He loved his life, his friends, his family, but most of all he loved his soul-mate, Carole. He would not want us to mourn him long but to remember him with joy and love. Gus was a deeply spiritual man who left this life without fear believing that he and those he loved will be together again.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at St. Patrick's church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
