Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jean Morin le jeudi 4 février 2016 au foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 91 ans. Il fut membre des Chevaliers de Colomb et La Borée. Il aimait aller à la chasse, la pêche, et être entouré de ses petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Hélène, ses enfants, Luc (feue Lynda) de Kapuskasing et Guy (Lucie) de Val-Rita, deux soeurs, Gabrielle Dillon (Bob) et Raymonde Alard de Hearst, ses petits-enfants, Patrick (Nadine), Julie Dinnissen (Luc), Rémi, Chantal Gravel (Tony) et Josée Fouillard (Chad), ses arrière-petits-enfants, Alexandre, Louka, Cloé, Audrée, Molly, Rudy et Mylo. Il fut prédécédé par un fils Marc, ses frères et soeurs, Marie-Ange Proulx, Gérard, Clémence Denoncourt, Léo, Joseph, Philippe et Henri. Jean Morin reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le dimanche 7 février de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 8 février en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. L'inhumation printanière suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds pour résidents du foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing. ©

We regret to announce the death of Jean Morin on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 91. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, La Borée and the Immaculée-Conception church choir. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his spouse Hélène, his children, Luc (late Lynda) of Kapuskasing and Guy (Lucie) of Val-Rita, two sisters, Gabrielle Dillon (Bob) and Raymonde Alard of Hearst, his grandchildren, Patrick (Nadine), Julie Dinnissen (Luc), Rémi, Chantal Gravel (Tony) and Josée Fouillard (Chad), his great-grandchildren, Alexandre, Louka, Cloé, Audrée, Molly, Rudy and Mylo. He was predeceased by his son Marc, his siblings, Marie-Ange Proulx, Gérard, Clémence Denoncourt, Léo, Joseph, Philippe and Henri. Jean Morin will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, February 7 from 2 - 4:00 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 8th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. Spring burial to follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Resident's Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
