Obituary for Jeannette Siple (Cadieux)

Jeannette Siple (Cadieux)
Jeannette Beatrice Siple
A long interesting life of achievement, curiosity and caring has come to a peaceful end on August 9, 2016. Jeannette, in her life, accomplished many things that could only be admired by others. Born in Espanola, ON in 1924 she moved with her family to Kapuskasing. After attending school and starting to work for a living, WW II broke out. At the early age of 18 she joined the Royal Canadian Women’s Army Corps where she worked as an Inventory clerk at the Downsview, ON, Quarter Master Stores. This is where she met the love of her life Michael Henry Siple who predeceased her in 2006 after 62 years of marriage. She was an incredible mother and wife who loved to see her children's accomplishments as she helped them to tackle what the world had to offer.
Cherished mother of Michael (Inga), Lorne (Teena) and Sharon (Doug Colby). Grandma will be missed by Barbara (Cory Nichol), Karen (Steve Wagner), Michelyn (Dar Dowlatshahi), Steven (deceased), Kevin, Michael, Tyler, Aaron (Amy) and Evan (deceased). Great-grandmother of Mariah, Sean, Duncan, Scott, Kailey, Adam, Sam, Eric, Jessica, Steven, Cameron, Kaylin, Dailin and London.
Predeceased by parents, Alfred Cadieux and Elise Labelle, siblings, Jean-Claude, Laurent, Albert, Edouard and Rose. Survived by sisters Grace Kennedy and Claire Cadieux. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the exemplary care provided by Dr. Chung and both the active and continuing care staff of Sensenbrenner Hospital.
As an expression of sympathy donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 12 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Church with Father Hervé Sauvé. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects commencing at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the church hall after a private family graveside service.
