The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Luc Boissonneault can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Luc Boissonneault

Luc  Boissonneault
In loving memory of Luc Boissonneault who passed away on Wednesday, July 23rd at the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing, Ontario at the age of 86. He will be greatly missed by his wife Denise, his daughter Nicole Mooney, his grand daughter Katlyn Mooney of Edmonton, his sisters Reine Belliveau (Russ) and Lucille Burton (Larry), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his father Serge and mother Franceska his siblings Guy and his Irma Dufour. Luc was employed by Spruce Falls Pulp and Paper co. for 40 years. He enjoyed many sports and participated in hockey, golf, and curling. He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing and listening to music. He loved to entertain and his guests were always well fed and watered! He was a volunteer fireman for many years. He adored animals especially Zeus, Patou, Duchess, and Brooke. Donations can be made to the Animal Rescue in Kapuskasing. Messages of sympathy can be shared with the family between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28 at the Guenette Funeral Home. Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
