Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Lucien Riopel le vendredi 15 mai 2015 à Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 86 ans. Lucien était un amateur de hockey, surtout des Canadiens de Montréal. Il aimait aussi passer du temps avec sa famille et prendre un café au Tim Horton's. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse, Albina; ses enfants: Nicole Lawrence épouse de Dean de Edmonton, Claude époux de Martha de Kapuskasing et Guy époux de Sylvie de Sudbury; sept petits-enfants: Eddie, Joelle, David, Nikki, Natalie, Michael, Chantal; neuf arrière-petits-enfants: Dean, Gracie, Andie, Ruby, Max, Hunter, Wyatt, Chelsea et Connor; une soeur: Edna Tancredi de Kapuskasing; et un frère: Marcel Riopel de Kapuskasing. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents Maxime et Alma Riopel, et plusieurs frère et soeurs. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le samedi 30 mai à 10h30 en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds de loisirs des résident du foyer Extendicare. ©

We regret to announce the death of Lucien Riopel on May 15, 2015 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 86 years. Lucien enjoyed watching hockey, especially the Montreal Canadiens. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and having coffee at Tim Horton's. He is survived by his loving wife, Albina; his children: Nicole Lawrence wife of Dean of Edmonton, Claude husband of Martha of Kapuskasing and Guy husband of Sylvie of Sudbury; seven grandchildren: Eddie, Joelle, David, Nikki, Natalie, Michael and Chantal; nine great-grandchildren: Dean, Gracie, Andie, Ruby, Max, Hunter, Wyatt, Chelsea and Connor; one sister: Edna Tancredi of Kapuskasing; and one brother: Marcel Riopel of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by his parents, Maxime et Alma Riopel et many brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Resident's Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
