Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Marie-Rose Jean née Gauthier le 6 mars 2016 au Manoir North Centennial à l'âge de 90 ans. Marie-Rose était une personne pleine de vie, qui aimait jouer aux cartes, danser, chanter, voyager, et surtout, cuisiner. Elle était une personne qui aimait se mettre en forme et bien manger; elle faisait beaucoup de la bicyclette, la marche, et le yoga.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Yvon époux de Hélène de Kapuskasing, Monique Bédard épouse de Jean-Guy de Kitigan, et Hélène Michaud épouse de Denis de Gatineau; huit petits-enfants: Michel, Rémi, Annie, Stéphane, Sylvain, Alain, Martin, et Mélanie; dix arrière-petits-enfants: Audrey-Ann, Maxime, Annabelle, Samuel, William, Alexia, Maxim, Éric, Sébastien, Brielle, et un qui arrive bientôt; ainsi que deux frères: Armand Gauthier, et Jean-Guy Gauthier. Elle fut prédécédée par ses époux: Armand Jean et Camille Jean; ses parents: Bernadette Rouleau et Joseph Gauthier et trois frères Léo, Jean-Paul, et Nelson; et une soeur, Aldéa Drolet.

Marie-Rose Jean reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette jeudi de 19h à 21h en soirée. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 11 mars à 10h30 en l’église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. L'inhumation printanière aura lieu au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Manoir North Centennial. ©


We regret to announce the death of Marie-Rose Jean on March 6, 2016 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 90 years. Marie-Rose was a person full of life who enjoyed playing cards, dancing, singing, travelling, and especially cooking. She was someone who enjoyed staying fit and eating well; she did lots of biking, walking and yoga.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Yvon husband of Hélène of Kapuskasing, Monique Bédard wife of Jean-Guy of Kitigan, and Hélène Michaud wife of Denis of Gatineau; eight grandchildren: Michel, Rémi, Annie, Stéphane, Sylvain, Alain, Martin, and Mélanie; ten great-grandchildren: Audrey-Ann, Maxime, Annabelle, Samuel, William, Alexia, Maxim, Éric, Sébastien, Brielle, and one on the way; as well as two brothers: Armand Gauthier, and Jean-Guy Gauthier. She was predeceased by her husbands: Armand Jean and Camille Jean; her parents: Bernadette Rouleau and Joseph Gauthier; three brothers: Léo, Jean-Paul, and Nelson; and one sister, Aldéa Drolet.

Marie-Rose Jean will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11th at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception church with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. Spring burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©
