Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Olivin Bérubé le lundi 21 mai 2018 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 89 ans. Comme passe-temps, Olivin aimait faire de la pêche, du jardinage et regarder les oiseaux dans sa cour. Il aimait aussi taquiner les gens, raconter des histoires plates (farces) et conter des blagues. Monsieur Bérubé était bien connu comme enseignant et directeur dans différentes écoles de la région.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses quatre fils: Denis époux de Lynn de Moonbeam, Réjean de Kapuskasing, Marc époux de Laura de Surrey, BC, et Luc époux de Josie d'Ajax; ainsi que quatre petits-enfants: Danelle, Loïc, Chantal et Daniel; et trois arrière-petits-enfants: Philip, Isabel, et Théo. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Louise; et ses parents: Amedé et Antoinette Bérubé.

La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 16 juin, à 10h30 en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires avec Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds de loisirs des résidents du foyer Extendicare. ©



We regret to announce the death of Olivin Bérubé on May 21, 2018 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 89 years. In his spare time, Olivin enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching the birds in his yard. He also enjoyed teasing everyone, telling jokes and funny stories. He was also a well-known teacher and principal, having taught at several of the area’s schools.

He will be greatly missed by his four sons: Denis husband of Lynn of Moonbeam, Réjean of Kapuskasing, Marc husband of Laura of Surrey, BC, and Luc husband of Josie of Ajax; as well as four grandchildren: Danelle, Loïc, Chantal and Daniel; and three great-grandchildren: Philip, Isabelle, and Théo. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise; and his parents: Amedé and Antoinette Bérubé.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Residents’ Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
