Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de René Babin le mercredi 6 juillet 2016 au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 93 ans. Il aimait aller à la chasse et à la pêche, ainsi que se rendre au terminus d’autobus ONR pour jaser avec ses copains. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Marcel (Margaret), Nicole Fortier (Guy) de Kapuskasing et Ron (Suzanne) de Val-Rita, huit petits-enfants, Suzanne, Mark, Danny, Johnny, Michel, Daniel, Stéphane et Caroline, dix arrière-petits-enfants, ses filleules, Denise Croteau, Marlene Howard, et Sylvie, son filleul Paul Babin, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse Suzanne, ses parents, Jos Babin et Claude Bourdages, ses frères et soeurs, Philibert, Valmore, Alida Croteau, Laurette Babin et Jeanne Babin. Un service aura lieu le mercredi 13 juillet au cimetière de Kapuskasing à 11h00 avec le Père Hervé sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©

We regret to announce the death of René Babin on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 93. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the ONR parking lot to meet up with his friends. He is survived by his children, Marcel (Margaret), Nicole Fortier (Guy) of Kapuskasing and Ron (Suzanne) of Val-Rita, eight grandchildren, Suzanne, Mark, Danny, Johnny, Michel, Daniel, Stéphane and Caroline, ten great-grandchildren, his god-children, Denise Croteau, Marlene Howard, Sylvie and Paul Babin, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his spouse Suzanne, his parents, Jos Babin and Claude Bourdages, his siblings, Philibert, Valmore, Alida Croteau, Laurette Babin and Jeanne Babin. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 13th at the Kapuskasing Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
