We regret to announce the death of Richard Sanford on Monday, November 2 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 63. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working in his garage. He is survived by his wife Lynn Thompson-Sanford, his children, Cathy Trépanier (Dan) of Smooth Rock Falls and Steve of Timmins, his siblings, Bob Sanford (Annette), Brian Sanford (Lise), Moe Beaudet, Kenni Dumais (Arthur) of Kapuskasing, Ken Sanford (Monica) of Port Perry, David Sanford (Brenda), Darlene Sandford (Mitch Fountain) of Guelph, Gary Sanford (Tina) of Bowmanville and Allan Sandford (Joni) of Rochester, as well as three grandchildren, Dustin, Miguel and Taunia. He was predeceased by his parents, Lottie and Herman, one brother, William. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th at St. Patrick's church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated. ©

Il aimait aller à la pêche, la chasse, jardiner et travailler dans son garage. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Lynn Thompson-Sanford, ses enfants, Cathy Trépanier (Dan) de Smooth Rock Falls et Steve de Timmins, ses frères et soeurs, Bob Sanford (Annette), Brian Sanford (Lise), Moe Beaudet, Kenni Dumais (Arthur) de Kapuskasing, Ken Sanford (Monica) de Port Perry, David Sanford (Brenda), Darlene Sandford (Mitch Fountain) de Guelph, Gary Sanford (Tina) de Bowmanville et Allan Sandford (Joni) de Rochester, ainsi que trois petits-enfants, Dustin, Miguel et Taunia. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Lottie et Herman, un frère, William. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le lundi 9 novembre en l'église St. Patrick à 10h30 avec le Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société de l'arthrite. ©
