We regret to announce the death of Robert Olford on Wednesday, June 6, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury at the age of 63. Robert was a quiet and reserved man who enjoyed tinkering on his truck and watching the Toronto Blue Jays on television. He is survived by his siblings, Tom (Joanne) of Kapuskasing, Catherine Hopper of Oshawa, Trudie Olford of Markham, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Bertram and Julia, his siblings, Barbara Nichol, Marion Christensen, Norman and Thelma Olford. Robert Olford will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13 beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital CT Scanner Fund would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the nurses in the ICU as well as Drs. Julie Boucher, McIsaac and Thériault for the compassionate care provided. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Robert Olford le mercredi 6 juin 2018 à l’Hôpital Horizon Santé Nord de Sudbury à l'âge de 63 ans. Il était un homme tranquille et réservé qui aimait travailler sur son camion et suivre les Blue Jays de Toronto à la télévision. Il laisse dans le deuil son frère et soeurs, Tom (Joanne) de Kapuskasing, Catherine Hopper d’Oshawa et Trudie Olford de Markham, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et arrière neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Bertram et Julia, ses frères et soeurs, Barbara Nichol, Marion Christensen, Norman et Thelma Olford. Robert Olford reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mercredi 13 juin à partir de 9h00. Une célébration de la Parole suivra à 11h30 dans la chapelle avec le Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour l’achat d’un tomodensitomètre. La famille désire remercier les infirmières aux soins intensifs, ainsi que les docteurs Julie Boucher, McIsaac et Thériault pour les bons soins prodigués. ©
