Obituary for Ronald Arsenault

Ronald Arsenault
We regret to announce the death of Ronald Arsenault on Thursday December 5, 2013 at Sensenbrenner Hospital Kapuskasing at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his wife Olive Arsenault; three children: Donald of Kapuskasing, Gerald (Nancy) of Pembroke and Cheryl Cloutier (Marcel) of Kapuskasing; one sister: Thérèse Doucet of Kapuskasing as well as eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 1 brother Lionel Melanson as well as his parents Antoine and Élodia Melanson. He enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and cribbage, loved country and western music and was a member of La Forge and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 85. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12th, 2013 at Immaculée-Conception church in Kapuskasing at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 85 would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Ronald Arsenault le jeudi 5 décembre 2013 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner de Kapuskasing à l'âge de 80 ans. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse de 60 ans Olive Arsenault; 3 enfants: Donald de Kapuskasing, Gerald (Nancy) de Pembroke et Cheryl Cloutier (Marcel) de Kapuskasing; 1 soeur: Thérèse Doucet de Kapuskasing ainsi que 8 petits-enfants et 3 arrière-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé par 1 frère Lionel Melanson ainsi que ses parents Antoine et Élodia Melanson. Il aimait jouer à la balle, au hockey, au crib, et écouter la musique country. Il était membre de La Forge et la filiale 85 de la Légion royale canadienne. Le service commémoratif aura lieu le jeudi 12 décembre 2013 en l'église Immaculée-Conception à Kapuskasing à 10h30 avec le Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. L'incinération a eu lieu au crématoire Hillcrest. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la filiale 85 de la Légion royale canadienne. ©
