Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Simone Tremblay can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Simone Tremblay le samedi 2 août 2014 à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 85 ans. Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte 1 fille Louise Chapman de Kapuskasing; 1 fils:Robert (Henriette) Tremblay de North Bay, 2 frères: Emile Godard de Kirkland Lake, Marcel Godard d'Ottawa; ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs: Lucienne Filion, Jeannine Brazeau, Adrienne Laflamme, Joanne Stratford, Thérèse Touchette, Huguette Cotton, Marguerite Godard, Jean-Claude Godard; 6 petits-enfants: Michel Dagenais, Marc Dagenais (Ann), Richard Tremblay (Emy), 6 arrière-petits-enfants, Jared, Michael Jr., Devyn, Destinée, Stéphanie,et Kyrsten. Elle aimait coudre, tricoter et faire la cuisson. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le samedi 9 août 2014 à 10h30 en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires à Kapuskasing avec le père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L'incinération a eu lieu au crématoire Hillcrest. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing.

We regret to announce the death of Simone Tremblay on August 2, 2014 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 85 years. She is survived by 1 daughter : Louise Chapman of Kapuskasing; 1 son: Robert (Henriette) Tremblay of North Bay, 2 brothers: Emile Godard of Kirkland Lake, Marcel Godard of Ottawa; her step-brothers and step-sisters: Lucienne Filion, Jeannine Brazeau, Adrienne Laflamme, Joanne Stratford, Thérèse Touchette, Huguette Cotton, Marguerite Godard, Jean-Claude Godard; 3 grandchildren: Michel Dagenais, Marc Dagenais (Ann), Richard Tremblay (Emy), 6 great-grandchildren: Jared, Michael Jr., Devyn, Destinée, Stéphanie and Kyrsten. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and cook. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church in Kapuskasing at 10:30 AM with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing would be greatly appreciated.
