Obituary for Sonia Szkutowicz (Buta)

We regret to announce the death of Sonia Szkutowicz on Saturday June 21, 2014 at Sensenbrenner Hospital Kapuskasing at the age of 90 years. She is survived by 4 daughters: Mary Lurz of Kapuskasing, Michelina Rozon of Kitchener, Victoria wife of Ron Leclair of Belleville , Sophie wife of Paul Campbell of Baltimore, ON, 3 sisters: Mary, Hannah and Sophie all of the Ukraine as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed walking, gardening, she was proud of her multilingual talents and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Sonia Szkutowicz will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday June 23, 2014 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2014 at St. Patrick's church, Kapuskasing at 2:00 PM with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
