McNaughton, Thelma Beatrice (Duffy) - Peacefully at Cassellholme with her family by her side on Thursday, October 30th, 2014, at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Alastair McNaughton. Cherished mother of Sandra Durie (Robert) of Kapuskasing, Carol Liznick (Eric) of Kenora, Rob McNaughton (Barbara) of Wallaceburg and Jase McNaughton of Kirkland Lake. Proud grandmother of Karl (Mandy) Liznick, Kris (Shannon) Liznick, Ken (Jamie) Durie, Ted (Sylvie) Durie, James (Tonya) McNaughton, Jon McNaughton, Jenna McNaughton, Andrew (Serene) McNaughton and great-grandmother of Tristan, Kylie and Bowman Durie, Emily, Jack and Evelynn McNaughton, Nate and Emma Durie. Sadly missed by her sister Joan Duffy Nabb of North Bay. Thelma is predeceased by her parents Dennis and Edith Duffy and siblings Kenneth, Gordon and Raymond Duffy and Joyce Buswell . Respecting Thelma's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A memorial of her life and interment will take place at the family plot in Kirkland Lake at a later date. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kapuskasing Sensenbrenner Hospital Auxillary would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
